LoJack (HK) Protects Marine Assets Too

Mr. Lam works on a fuel barge located near Cheung Sha Wan fish wholesale market, pumping oil for customers who arrive on other ships and barges. He receives mostly cash, as is standard for the business.

Early on the morning of August 18th, Mr. Lam was handling a large transaction when he noticed something strange about the bills. He asked the customer to wait while he went to show a fellow worker. But when he noticed the customers scrambling to untie their vessel, he realized that the bills were counterfeit!

Unable to prevent the criminals from leaving, Mr. Lam pushed the emergency button on the barge's LoJack (HK) CellTrak Marine security system, thereby alerting the LoJack (HK) Command and Control Centre. Within minutes, LoJack (HK) had informed the Marine Police of the location of the crime, and they arrived on the scene before the lawbreakers could escape. According to the police, the offenders had been wanted for quite some time for similar crimes. They express gratitude to LoJack (HK) for playing an important role in the arrests.
